This is the small print but let’s keep it big so we’re all on the same page!

  • Strictly 18+ to buy any knife from North Knives as per UK Knife Law. By purchasing a knife from us, you are confirming that you are of legal age.

  • We reserve the right to ask to see proof of ID - either Passport or UK driving licence.

  • Our knives are designed strictly for the purpose of food preparation by responsible adults. North Knives assumes no responsibility for any harm or injury resulting from the sale, trade, use or handling of any product(s) purchased from us.

  • It is the responsibility of the buyer to obey all applicable local and UK laws regarding possession or use of any item purchased from North Knives.

Guarantee

All our knives come with a 12 month guarantee against major manufacturing defects - if basic conditions are met.

  • Our knives are not dishwasher safe! Hand-wash only

  • Our knives are not designed to cut hard objects such as frozen food or bone (unless this was something specified in a custom order)

  • Our knives should be cared for as per the instructions included in your order. With proper care they will last a lifetime

  • Stock built knives purchased through our online shop (i.e. non-custom orders) can be returned for a full refund, minus delivery costs, if returned in like-new condition within 14 days.

Custom Orders

  • When custom ordering you will be given a quote or estimate

  • If you receive a quote, but later make changes to your order, we reserve the right charge accordingly

  • When you are happy to place your order we will need a 25% deposit to commence work

  • For custom orders where special materials have to be ordered in, you will be advised of the cost and this will be added to the deposit amount

  • Payments for custom orders are typically made via bank transfer or cash on collection. Custom orders can be added to our website, at your request, so that you can pay via Credit Card, PayPal or Clearpay.

  • Deposits are non refundable

  • If you are unhappy with your custom knife when it arrives you can return it for a refund (minus the deposit amount and postage costs) if returned in like-new condition within 14 days. If you have chosen a custom etch with names, dates or anything super personal we unfortunately cannot offer a refund.
